My name is Jeff, and my ebay® id is killarstuff. My background is in antiques and collectibles. Now I had been selling my items at antique shows. A lot of the venues were outdoors, and it was getting tougher to sell in the winter. I had bought several items on ebay, but had no idea with my limited computer skills how to sell my items on ebay.

Early one morning I saw a TV news story about Monica and selling items on ebay. I had called Monica on several occasions before deciding to take advantage of her one-on-one teaching. Monica took me through the process of selling items step by step in terms that I could understand. I learned just what I needed to sell my items on ebay. Monica helped me understand how a digital camera worked and how to crop and size pictures. She even hooked up my printer that I had purchased earlier and had never used.

She took me through the process of selling on eBay step by step, in language I could understand. Anytime I needed additional help, Monica was available. Because of ebay, I no longer have to hold my outdoor sales in the winter, I can work from the comfort of my home.

My name is Kristie, and my eBay® id is weareluck. My family had been trying to get me to buy a computer for a couple of years. I was very apprehensive because I did not even know which button to push to turn one on. One day my husband saw a news story on TV about a person who teaches people how to sell on eBay, and wrote down the phone number. After much debate, he convinced me to call Monica. Now I must tell you that I am a very skeptical person, but after talking with Monica, felt she could help me. We purchased a computer, and Monica helped us get on the internet and pick out a digital camera.

Monica was very direct and precise. Everything was hands-on which was especially important for someone who had very minimal computer skills (and a lot of apprehension). She could answer any of my questions from how to turn on the computer all the way through to having your auction up and running on eBay. After the training in our home, it was nice to know that Monica was only a phone call away, and she continued to offer support any time we needed it (and I mean any time).

Now here it is a few years later, and I am still selling on eBay. There have been some tough family times that could have been much worse had it not been for Monica and eBay. I just want to take this opportunity to say thanks for all the help and guidance. All I needed was someone to: just show me how.

My name is Kathy and my Ebay user is katpat0704. I have known Monica for years and knew she taught people how to use eBay to sell items. One night while surfing the Internet I looked at eBay and became instantly intrigued on how to sell items. So I called Monica and she came over to my home to just show me how it all worked. Even though I was very computer literate; she explained and assisted me in setting up accounts correctly since she knows all the ins and outs being a certified eBay Educational Specialist. She also gave me great tips on how to buy items like how to watch an item, when to bid, and how to get the winning bid.

My greatest selling success story was when Monica assisted me in selling my motor home on EBay. I had listed it in the local newspapers with barely a nibble. So we listed it on eBay and started receiving inquires from all over the United States. At the end of the sale, I got more money than I had hoped for and way above the reserve I had placed on it. The funny thing was a lady that lived 45 miles from me bought the motor home. My lesson learned, It pays to advertise and sell items on eBay - not your local newspaper.
